Lion's and Tigers and Panda Bears...Oh My

The feet are yelling, "No More! Please No More", but we were all very excited about today - headed to a reunion with all our friends and family! :)

See if you can recognize anyone!

We had a great video but having trouble getting it to upload.  It was good to see everyone again.!

Hole in One (Actually in Two)

We have done so much walking that I actually walked a hole right into my shoe and my sock!

Once again we had beautiful day to travel around Washington D.C. and see some of the historical sites.  First, we enjoyed the National Archives, however, no pictures could be taken.  Did you know that Thomas Jefferson raised geese so he could have a steady supply of quill pins?  Only 3 - 5 feathers per goose can be used and each quill only lasts about a week.  We didn't get to go into the Bureau of Engraving and Printing but thought we would take a picture on our way to the Jefferson Memorial.

Did you know the bronze statue of Thomas Jefferson is 19 feet tall and weights in at 5 tons.  The memorial was dedicated in 1943 on the 200th anniversary of Jefferson's birthday.
From there we we went to the FDR Memorial.

And Then our last tour stop for the day was the Vietnam Memorial.
